News : Hadal Maw sign to EVP Recordings + announce new album for early 2017
Melbourne death metallers, Hadal Maw, have made the exciting announcement that they have signed to EVP Recordings. With it comes the news that they will be releasing their second full-length album on the label.
EVP Recordings have been responsible for releases by world class acts such as Behemoth, King Parrot, Psycroptic, and King.2016 has been a triumphant return for metal heavyweights Hadal Maw. After breaking in the new year by recording their second release with new vocalist Sam Dillon (Lo!, Snakes Get Bad Press), the band wasted no time in hitting the road yet again,with the new line up and sound being well received at shows around the country including spots with Cryptopsy, Thy Art is Murder, Be’lakor and on the famed New Dead Fest.Since the 2014 release of their debut album Senium, Hadal Maw have cemented themselvesamong Australia’ s death metal elite with their modern reimaginin g of the genre and sonically devastatin g live show.
This joins the news that Hadal Maw will be rounding out 2016 with a small run of shows, including their long-awaited return to Sydney, alongside shows with Tassie tech-death legends, Psycroptic, and the enigmatic Départe.
