News : Elm Street announce massive Brisbane metal festival
Melbourne traditional metallers, Elm Street, have today announced plans for their inaugural Knock ‘Em Out Metal Festival in Brisbane. The massive festival will feature the likes of Elm Street, who are currently promoting their brand new release Knock Em’ Out With A Metal Fist (out now via the band’s webstore), Desecrator who are about to embark on a massive tour tour with the likes of Overkill, and featuring Melbourne power metal legends Pegazus, who are presenting a re-vamp’d rendition.
The festival will take place on Saturday, 3rd December at Brisbane’s Crowbar. Tickets are on sale now moshtix.com.au.

With the success of metal festivals such as Steel Assassins in Sydney & Legions of Steel in Melbourne, Elm Street’s ES Management & Brisbane’s Metal of Honor is proud to present a jam packed bill set to knock you out at Brisbane’s home of heavy metal on the 3rd of December – CROWBAR!
With doors opening at 4pm, metal heads will enjoy TWO levels of heavy metal with upstairs hosting guest dj sets all night long playing your favourite heavy metal anthems and downstairs hosting some of Australia’s hardest hitting bands.
Headlining Knock ‘Em Out 2016 will be Australia’s premier JUDAS PRIEST tribute act BRITISH STEEL!
Everyday loves a ‘Living After Midnight’ and ‘Painkiller’ singalong, so let British Steel take you on a ride down the highway as they present their Priest-like show to Brisbane for the FIRST time.Support will come from some of Melbourne’s best talent in ELM STREET – presenting their unique brand of traditional heavy metal following up the release of their NEW album ‘Knock ‘Em Out…With A Metal Fist’, DESECRATOR – known for their vicious thrash sound and once again proving their world domination as they farewell Australia on their SKULLS’n’DAGGERS tour & PEGAZUS – providing the true heavy metal sound every metal head craves!
