News : Lacuna Coil Australian tour + supports announced
Italian gothic metallers, Lacuna Coil, have announced that come this October they will be returning to headline Australia in support of their eighth studio album, Delirium. Announced by vocalist Christina Scabbia herself on a live Q&A panel held last night over Facebook, this will be Lacuna Coil’s first time over since their visit with Soundwave Festival back in 2009. Seven years is a long time, but this tour promises to make up for every second of it!
Now, with this exciting tour on the horizon, the supports for each Australian date has also been announced, and it sees some of our country’s most impressive talent set to open for the metallers from Milan. Melbourne’s Orpheus Omega will serve as special guest supports for the four-date tour, but will not be appearing in Perth.

Iconic, Italian Gothfathers,LACUNA COIL
will return to Australia this October for their first ever Headline tour in support of their 8th studio album, Delirium!
Lacuna Coil are best known for the dual male/female vocals of Cristina Scabbia and Andrea Ferro; a combination that forms the most effervescent one-two vocal punch in rock. Their gothic imagery, down-tuned sonics and creative use of synths created a metal sub genre all of it’s own. Influencing generations of bands who have live in the bands shadow since they formed in 1994.
Touring Australia in support of their eighth studio album, Delirium, which was released in May via Century Media/Sony Music Australia, Lacuna Coil have delivered the heaviest, darkest & most entrancing music of their career!
