News : Inquisition Cancels Australian Tour
Inquisition‘s Australian tour (labelled the ‘Bloodshed Across the Australian Altar’ tour), which was set to kick off tonight at the Amplifier Bar in Perth, has today been cancelled, citing “an emergency that requires the immediate attention of a band member”. The news was shared via a post from Direct Touring on the official tour event page on Facebook shortly ago.
Direct Touring writes:
Due to an emergency that requires the immediate attention of a band member we are devastated to announce Inquisition have been forced to pull out of the scheduled Australian tour dates. Full refunds will be issued immediately to all ticket holders.
Oztix will automatically refund the ticket price directly back to the credit card on which the order was purchased. It can take up to 5 – 10 working days for a refund to be processed back to the card.
We have never been in the position of a headliner being forced to pull out of a tour in our 10+ years of organising shows – so we ask you to please be patient while we work through the situation. We are truly appreciate of all the supporters of Direct Touring who purchase presale tickets and attend our shows; we will make sure every one of you are happy with the refund resolution.

We are working with Inquisition to reschedule the tour for a later date. We are also working with local venues and support bands to hopefully still put on some of the scheduled shows with revised lineups, please keep an eye on the event pages as details emerge.
