News : Orsome Welles To Release New Single and Music Video, “Build A World”
The Melbourne experimental proggers with the great pun for a band name have returned with the news that soon they will be releasing a brand new single and music video. In light of their recent announcement that they will be touring nationally with fellow Melburnians Circles in September, Orsome Welles will release “Build A World”; a song that will feature on the band’s forthcoming EP, Rise, to be released in November.
“We’ve been hard at work this year gearing up for the onslaught that is the months to come. A new EP ‘Rise’, our debut video clip, and now a tour round’ the country with Circles, hell yes!” says guitarist Steven Angell.
“We’ll be showcasing the new single ‘Build A World’, which explores the idea of obsession fuelling one’s ability to change their life, and surroundings in an instant. I think it really shows where we’re going musically and production-wise with the new release.”
Keep it tuned here when it drops!

Orsome Welles are a band that defy classification. An unconventional merge of progressive and heavy, overlaid with an early 20th century panache; pounding grooves, infused with intricate instrumentality and raw uncaged power.
Their avant-garde live show, exemplified by their musical ferociously offset by the soulful, soaring vocals of enigmatic frontman Michael Stowers is a sight to behold.
Since arriving on the scene in 2014 with their Erth News Bulletin EP, Orsome Welles have received praise from all areas of international heavy scene. They have supported global heavyweights such as Trivium, Seether, Orphaned Land and The Ocean and played with the best of the best of the burgeoning Australian prog-rock heavy scene including Twelve Foot Ninja, Ne Obliviscaris, Caligula’s Horse, Voyager, and more.
Orsome Welles will be joining fellow Melburnians, the uniquely different heavy music exponents, Circles, on their Egression Tour this September. Circles distinctive fusion of powerhouse progressive rhythms, soaring lead vocals, and dynamic songs have turned heads all over the world with the UK’s Metal Hammer
Magazine quoting that with their ‘massive, bendy riffs. huge melodies. synapse-frazzling atmospherics. it’s hard to imagine what more circles could do to assert their awesomeness’. With most of 2015 spent
incubating their highly anticipated next release, Circles have incorporated new sounds, styles and production techniques into their already forward thinking ethos, suggesting the new album will be something truly remarkable.
