News : Melbourne thrashers Elm Street reveal new bassist
Melbourne based thrash metal quartet Elm Street have revealed the details of their new bassist, Nick Ivkovic. Nick Ivkovic joins Elm Street on bass guitar and will be making his debut on stage appearance in June on the band’s Australian leg of a world tour. Nick is well known for his years in successful hard rock bands including The Scarlets who were led to a run of support shows with Bon Jovi in 2010.
Nick Ivkovic comments:
“Since seeing the band on a Tuesday night in the Espy Basement 10 years ago, the band have come an incredibly long way, so it’s with pride and honour that i now have the opportunity to help the band take the next step in their impressive career. The band and the fans have been incredibly welcoming, thank you and i love you all, but that doesn’t mean that once we’re on stage we’re not going to knock you all out with a metal fist!”
Elm Street’s forthcoming release Knock ‘Em Out…With A Metal Fist is due for release on June 25 via Massacre Records.
The album’s artwork was created by artist Ken Kelly (who was previously created artworks for the likes of Rainbow, KISS and Manowar), the band’s sophomore record will be released on June 25th via Massacre Records. The album was further recorded, mixed and mastered by Ermin Hamidovic at Systematic Productions.
