News : Live Nation and Unified join forces as a new heavy music touring force
Mega touring conglomerate Live Nation, the producer of the famous UK Download Festival have signed a partnership deal with Unified, the Australian based independent record label and artist management company. Unified is most well known for their annual Unify Gathering, a heavy metal and hardcore camping festival held in South Gippsland, Victoria. Unified also take care of The Amity Affliction, Northlane, In Hearts Wake and many more.
Under its founder and CEO Jaddan Comerford, UNIFIED has a strong history of successful touring for its management clients including Vance Joy, The Amity Affliction, Violent Soho, Northlane, In Hearts Wake and Illy, as well as running the critically acclaimed and sold out UNIFY events in 2015 and 2016. Seeing a gap in the rock market and holding many key relationships around the world, UNIFIED’s decision to enter the touring space is an important move for the Australian market.
Not to mention the highly successful BIG ASS TOUR in December, which saw UNIFIED act THE AMITY AFFLICTION join forces with A DAY TO REMEMBER to headline the biggest hard rock event of 2015.
Already a force worldwide, LIVE NATION is one of the leading promoters in the region and carries a considerable pedigree in Heavy Music ranging from juggernauts Metallica, Black Sabbath and Linkin Park to recent tours with Sleeping with Sirens, Soilwork, Tonight Alive and Asking Alexandria.
The first official tour under the new partnership is the recently announced Australian tour for Bring Me The Horizon.
