News : Parkway Drive – ‘Killing With A Smile’ & ‘Horizons’ Get Certified Gold

2015 has been quite the year for Byron Bay heavyweights Parkway Drive. Climbing right to the top of the ARIA charts with their fifth record, ‘Ire’, this saw the album debut at #1 – the first #1 in Parkway Drive’s history. This joined moments where they jumped out of aeroplanes, toured across Australia and the rest of the world, and performing to some of the biggest audiences of their career; gaining sold out shows across the board.

Parkway Drive continue their upward climb with the news that both ‘Killing With A Smile’ and ‘Horizons’ – the band’s first and second albums, respectively – have been officially certified gold. These two albums now join the already gold-certified ‘Deep Blue’ and ‘Atlas’, with ‘Ire’ well on its way to this also.

iTunes further named ‘Ire’ their Best Metal Album of 2015.
