News : The Amity Affliction – ‘Let The Ocean Take Me’ Achieves Platinum Accreditation
Before the band embark on their largest tour to date, covering arenas across Australia, The Amity Affliction have just raked in further good news with the announcement that their #1 ARIA album, ‘Let The Ocean Take Me’, has just achieved platinum sales.
‘Let The Ocean Take Me’ is The Amity Affliction’s first platinum album, and only adds to a growing list of accolades the band is accumulating, including two gold albums (‘Chasing Ghosts’ and ‘Youngbloods’) and their first ARIA top 20 single with “Shine On”. This was following a world wide tour that saw them sell out 1000+ capacity rooms across Europe, the UK, and North America. The band’s recently released documentary, Seems Like Forever, has also achieved gold sales.
With The Amity Affliction preparing to enter the studio to record their next album (slated for release mid-2016), anticipation remains high for the next chapter in the band’s career.
Congratulations to The Amity Affliction from all at Metal Obsession.
