News : Five Finger Death Punch to support Black Sabbath on final Australian tour
US metal heavyweights Five Finger Death Punch have been chosen to support Black Sabbath on the upcoming ‘The End’ world tour next April in Australia.
Fans can secure their tickets and meet and greet packages through Live Nation Australia.
4/15 – Perth @ Perth Arena
4/17 – Adelaide @ Entertainment Centre
4/19 – Melbourne @ Rod Laver Arena
4/23 – Sydney @ Allphones Arena
4/25 – Brisbane @ Entertainment Centre
4/28 – Auckland @ Vector Arena
4/30 – Dunedin @ Forsyth Barr Stadium
The American metal juggernaut crashed into the ARIA Charts last month at #3 with their sixth album, Got Your Six, giving them their highest Australian chart position ever! Got Your Six is the follow-up to the two global smash hits, 2013’s The Wrong Side Of Heaven And The Righteous Side Of Hell Volumes 1 and 2 which debuted at #13 and #29 respectively. The album prior, 2011’s American Capitalist debuted at #50, proving FFDP’s fanbase has grown dramatically in Australia over just a few years.
The band’s last visit to our shores was in 2014 as part of the Soundwave Festival where their trademark stadium anthems garnered new fans and thrilled their faithful.
With one of heavy music’s biggest modern acts joining forces with the masters of reality, Australian fans are in for an epic night of classic heavy metal and monster sized riffage as they bear witness to the end of an era.
No word as of yet if Bill Ward will be a part of the tour, but be assured Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler will be there to deliver the goods.
The tour promises to be the “most mesmerizing production ever” in the band’s history. We strongly urge you take the hint as these dates will no doubt sell out fast, and truly be the last time you will see the greatest heavy metal band of all time, Black Sabbath.
