News : The Amity Affliction and Thy Art is Murder join Hellfest
Australian Hardcore giants Thy Art Is Murder and The Amity Affliction are confirmed to perform at Hellfest in France next year. The 2016 instalment sees German industrial metallers Rammstein and the pioneers of heavy metal, Black Sabbath headline the 3 day camping music festival.
Thy Art Is Murder just finished up a massive national tour of Australia and are now back in America promoting their crushing new album ‘Holy War’, out now via Nuclear Blast Records and UNFD. The Amity Affliction are also in America, touring with Chelsea Grin. Amity’s fourth studio album ‘Let the Ocean Take Me’ was released last year and is available from Roadrunner Records and UNFD.
Last year Melbourne metal heroes Ne Obliviscaris and Airborne were apart of the Hellfest action, performing alongside Judas Priest, Nightwish, Scorpions, ZZ Top, Slipknot and many more!
Hellfest is the successor of Fury Fest, and is fast becoming Europe’s sort after heavy metal and hard rock camping festival. The festival is based in Clisson, 400 km south-west of Paris, and is held in June every year and brings in on average around 70,000+ attendance. Read our review of Hellfest 2015 here.
All 3 Day Camping Passes for the event have completely sold out in record time. However, organisers will post updates of new tickets if they become available. If you somehow get your hands on a ticket, we strongly advise you go. You won’t be disappointed.
Although the opening of the gates of the hellfest gets in seven months, we inform you that the entirety of the pass 3 days have been passed. (the last pass 3 days online are gone in a few hours today) that is still a new record recorded for the festival and it is thanks to your confidence! We thank you again for all your support and promise we will do our best to secure a new 2016 Edition of the hellfest of the most memorable!
Stay tuned to the Hellfest Facebook page for more details.
