Unify Gathering is a two day heavy music festival presented by Triple J and 24Hundred, with a strong emphasis on hardcore, metalcore and heavy metal music. Unify is fast becoming the answer to the lack of heavy metal music camping festival in Australia. While it’s not as monstrous as the leaders of the pack with names like Wacken Open Air, Bloodstock or Summer Breeze in Europe and the UK, it’s definitely great to see something come to fruition for Australia.
Early bird tickets were released to the public earlier this month and sold out in a matter of hours. The bar has risen, and the festival will now be taking in a 5000 capacity from the original 3000 capacity in 2015. Ticket holders will receive entry into the event for two days, free camping, access to various bars and eateries, local vendors selling all your favourite merchandise, plus heaps of entertainment.
General tickets go on sale October 1 from 12pm AEST via 24Hundred.com.
