News : Gvrlls release first single from debut EP “Protect Us From The Ones We Love”

Sydney’s Gvrlls sit in that great space between sludge and hardcore that has seen them support bands from High on Fire and Conan through to Full of Hell and (soon) Code Orange, before having a proper release under their belts.

Protect Us From The Ones We Love is the title of their debut EP, set for release on October 15th through Art As Catharsis Records.

“The group say their EP was inspired by major upheavals in their lives; that recording and writing these songs were a way for the band to channel that collective negativity into something cleansing. Perhaps it is this honesty – coupled with their expansive sound and the intensity of their live performances – that has helped them quickly build such a strong cult following.”
