News : Drowning Horse hitting the road on “Sheltering Sky” tour
Armed with their new album Sheltering Sky, Perth’s Drowning Horse have announced they’ll be heading on their first Australian tour. And from the early listen we’ve had, it’s one you’ll want to attend.
“First things first: Drowning Horse are heavy, and Sheltering Sky is probably the heaviest record you’ll hear all year. In their short history, the Perth outfit have mastered the art of massive weight, imbuing every aspect of their sound with unmatchable immensity. And in that heaviness lies something primal – something earthshaking and bone-rattling and so vital it strikes at the heart of the human condition in its most bleak and fragile state.”
