News : Second Band Announced For Soundwave 2016
Dead Letter Circus have officially been announced as the second band to appear on next year’s Soundwave 2016.
This news arrives off the back of a massive week for the band. Currently competing for the #1 spot on this week’s ARIA albums chart against Bullet For My Valentine – who, funnily enough, were announced as the first band to appear on Soundwave 2016 – Dead Letter Circus have also been promoting their national album tour (set for this October). This is not to mention that their third album, ‘Aesthesis’, is enjoying Triple J‘s feature album status, with support from Triple M and Channel V, and positive reviews for the album across Australia. Then add to that that Dead Letter Circus will further be guest programming Rage this weekend.
Dead Letter Circus are today also premiering worldwide their brand new videoclip for single, “In Plain Sight”, via Loudwire. You can view the videoclip now exclusively at this link here.
‘Aesthesis’ was given life in early 2015 by the band with Matt Bartlem (Jarryd James, Matt Corby) and Forrester Savell (Helmet, The Occupants) and mixed by multiple Grammy Award winner Chris Lord-Alge. (Muse, Deftones, Green Day, Slipknot, My Chemical Romance).
The October album tour encompasses Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria, Tasmania, New South Wales and Queensland and takes in iconic venues such as The Forum in Melbourne, The Triffid in Brisbane, The Roundhouse in Sydney, Metropolis Fremantle and The Gov in Adelaide as well as regional shows in most states. They will also jump over the puddle to New Zealand again in November, this time headlining their tour.
Be sure to also catch Dead Letter Circus on their national album tour this October. Tickets are on sale now via the usual outlets.
‘Aesthesis’ is out now via UNFD. Grab your copy through JB Hi-Fi, iTunes, and 24 Hundred.
