Recently came the news that Melbourne progressive metallers Divine Ascension have secured the support slot for Stratovarius‘ upcoming World Tour in support of the new Stratovarius album, ‘Eternal’. This tour will also see Gloryhammer perform alongside as special guest.

Divine Ascension had this to say about the announcement on their Facebook page:

The official ETERNAL World Tour 2015 poster! Complete with our name alongside heavy metal giants Stratovarius and Gloryhammer! Are you ready Europe???

This news arrives off the back of Divine Ascension’s recent Australian support alongside German metal royalty Blind Guardian. The tour saw the Melbourne proggers take the national support slot in Melbourne and Sydney to a strong response.
