News : Don Fernando unveil ‘Haunted By Humans’ music video
Melbourne based stoner four piece Don Fernando have unveiled their new music video, ‘Haunted By Humans’, taken from their brand new album of the same name.
Fans can feast their eyes on the new music clip below.
Haunted By Humans is the first lead into this outstanding sonic journey Don Fernando have mapped out for us. Rich and robust with an eerie cult movie feel, this clip delicately delves deep into the darker realms of the psychology of the mind. Filmed on location at the ‘Strongmansion’, with it’s textured, 70’s superiority and fittings- it defines the imagery cortex with it’s “grudge-esk” ghost like girl, walking, lurking and haunting our psyche with her presence on screen.
The band recently performed at Melbourne’s prestigious annually rock event Rock The Bay in St. Kilda, launching their new album ‘Haunted By Humans’. The band are now setting their sights on Europe this April.
‘Haunted By Humans’ is now available digitally and mail-order via the band’s official website and Band Camp. www.donfernandomusic.com.
The album was recorded and mixed by Andy Fernando at Singing Bird Studios, Mastered by Paul Fox at Indie Masters and Distributed through Hurricane Music.
The boys have returned with a robust sound edging into the sludgy and more doom laden stoner undertones, which resonates from their full bore background of Heavy Rock. The Album was entirely written, recorded and mixed by the band collectively; particularly with frontman Andy Fernando at the helm, the sound of this album is organic, pure and true to their vision and ideals of interest. This is as close Don Fernando will ever succumb to creating to a concept Album; the lyrical themes explore modern true crime stories.
Haunted By Humans has been a labor of love, blood, sweat and tears for the band, bringing much creative exploration and influence to this recording.
The bittersweet affair of touring in Australia and recording has fuelled Don Fernando with a wanderlust – seeing them export their sound previously in South America, Europe and the UK, to bring forth the riffage that they desperately miss and are salivating for since their last voyage abroad in 2013.
