News : Hybrid Nightmares Announce ‘The Ages’ CD 2 Album Launch
After the highly successful first album launch with ‘The First Age’ at The Evelyn Hotel, Melbourne on the 7th February to a near sold out crowd, Melbourne-based extreme metallers Hybrid Nightmares have announced its successor. Taking place at the iconic Cherry Bar on ACDC Lane, Melbourne, this intimate venue will serve as the perfect setting to the second part of the four-part ‘The Ages’ saga, ‘The Second Age’.
‘The Ages’ is a 4 disc thematic album that is being released across 2015 with the 2nd of 4 CD’s titled ‘The Second Age’ to be released physically and digitally on the 20th of April, with an album launch show to follow on the 16th of March at ‘The Cherry Bar’ in Melbourne’s CBD
“After creation, we have an era of peace. Death and disease are unknown – all that exists is perfect order and harmony across the cosmos. All things must end, however, and as the first man dies, the first vestiges of chaos herald a new age. As man becomes more and more frightened of losing what he has, war and conflict break out, bringing in an age where order and chaos are just barely balanced. When this balance breaks, chaos reigns supreme, with death and destruction as the only rulers of the stars. At the end of this age, we see a rapid decay….and a rebirth. The cycle repeats. And repeats again. But every age has its story, and every story has its teller. Soon, these stories will be told.”
Hybrid Nightmares will be supported by Melbourne symphonic metallers Bane of Winterstorm, as well as native Melburnian thrash aficionados, Harlott, and up and comers, Trigger. It promises to be “a night of ruthless and unrelenting heavy metal”.
Tickets are on sale now via Hybrid Nightmares’ official store. Click here to attend the official Facebook event page.
