News : The Black Dahlia Murder Announce June Australia-NZ Tour
Thanks to Direct Touring and Third Eye Print, American melodic death metallers The Black Dahlia Murder will be coming to Australia this year for an extended tour in June. Last here for Soundwave 2014, The Black Dahlia Murder joined onstage a host of other Metal Blade members, including GWAR, Amon Amarth, and Satyricon. The band will be closing their touring cycle for 2013’s ‘Everblack’ in our humble country.
Having dropped five genre-defining albums since forming in 2001 The Black Dahlia Murder have made it impossible to discuss melodic death metal without the mention of their name. They are hands down (or horns up?) one of the most popular bands in the extreme metal realm, TBDM will close off their touring cycle for their monstrous 2013 release Everblack with an Australian and New Zealand tour this June!
While delivering the punch to the face fans expect of the band, TBDM also strive to better themselves as vocalist Trevor Strnad explains, “We’ve always tried to create something that’s rooted in classic death metal but at the same time offers something fresh and new, & Everblack is everything that we collectively love about the genre,”
The bands total wall of sound has pits raging from the instant they take the stage until they leach every ounce of energy from the crowd and hand it back to them ten fold. Leaving fans decimated and euphoric at the same time.
Prepare to be left both decimated and euphoric when The Black Dahlia Murder return this June!
Local supports are yet to be announced. Tickets are on sale now via Direct Touring and the usual suspects, with a limited number of discounted early bird tickets available for each show at $39.95 + booking fee. Get in early!
