News : Black Majesty announce new drummer
Melbourne power metallers, Black Majesty, have announced the departure of long time drummer, Pavel Konvalinka. The band’s forthcoming new album “Cross Of Thorns” will be the final album to feature Pavel on drums.
We would like to inform BM fans that Pavel Konvalinka has parted ways with the band. Our new coming album ‘Cross Of Thorns’ will be the last to feature Pavel on drums. We wish him the best of luck for the future. In saying this we would like to announce the new drummer in Black Majesty. We would love everyone to make ‘Ben Wignall’ feel welcome as the official new drummer in Black Majesty.
Pavel had been behind the kit for Black Majesty since 2002. Drumming on the band’s debut EP and album “Sands Of Time”, released in 2002 and 2003, respectively. He has also contributed to the albums “Silent Company” in 2005, “Tomorrowland” in 2007, “In Your Honour” in 2010 and “Stargazer” in 2012.
Black Majesty have announce the band’s new drummer, Ben Wignall. For the past year, Ben has been drumming for Black Majesty for all of their live shows.
Fans can catch Ben Wignall in action at Black Majesty’s upcoming 10th anniversary “Silent Company” show, performing the album live in its entirety on Saturday, March 14th at Musicland in Fawkner with special guests Silent Knight. Presale tickets available from www.blackmajesty.com
