The schizophrenic, sarcasm-dripping, sound effect-laden MINISTRY will take to the stage in Melbourne and Sydney only for two very special Sidewaves.
The godfather of industrial metal, Al Jourgensen, known for his biting, provoking, sneering and sardonic music genius pulls no punches and with a career spanning in excess of 30 years still manages to sound completely fresh and inspired. The bands 1998 release of The Land of Rape & Honey is still considered one of the most seminal albums that launched the industrial revolution!
Comprised of legendary talents of Justin Broadrick (also of Jesu, JK Flesh, Techno Animal, Pale Sketcher, and more) and GC Green and formed in 1988 in Birmingham UK, GODFLESH continue to astound fans and critics with their ground-breaking genre experiments that pioneered an integration of electronic music’s bombastic rhythms, metal’s bludgeoning force, and post punk’s aural atmospherics. The bands’ latest release, A World Lit Only By Fire, mounts the thin line between high definition clarity, raw, visceral heaviness and melody!
