News : Full lineup release for Adelaide’s massive New Dead Metalfest
Adelaide’s The New Dead Metalfest just gets bigger every year. Last year saw the likes of King Parrot, Lord and Vanishing Point up the top of the lineup, but 2015 features not only one of the biggest names in Australian metal but also their first international band.
“Headliners PSYCROPTIC (Tas) are one of Australia’s greatest metal exports and this time they are armed with their sixth album – a self-titled array of progressive wizardry that has transcended far beyond their strictly technical death metal roots. Joining them at the top of the bill is our first International act to grace THE NEW DEAD, the devastating GOATWHORE (USA)!!! Who will spew their unadulterated, subterranean black death metal chaos, with the insatiable hunger of a pack of wild boars that no doubt will level TND6.
Adding to this already amazing double bill we have The six-headed death machine from Queensland, AVERSIONS CROWN, Aussie metal legendsDREADNAUGHT & ALARUM, the thrash / death force that is Adelaide’sTRUTH CORRODED, the thrash of IN MALICES WAKE (vic) and ALKIRA (SA), the Raw, Blackened death, Hardcore of COLOSSVS (Vic), WA filth merchantsEARTHROT, blackened thrashers METALSTORM (vic) the southern groovesof MAMMOTH (SA), Adelaide’s OATH OF DAMNATION will bring dark, symphonic death metal destruction to all and rounding it all off are some of Adelaide’s best up and comers FROM BIRTH TO BURIAL, BLOOD COVERED SHOVEL, WITMOTR & STORM THE ASYLUM.”
Pre-sales are now available through Moshtix for $25+bf, or at the door on the day for $30.
