George Kollias, extreme metal drummer extraordinaire will be returning to Australia in March for two special drumming workshops. The workshops will take place in Sydney on Saturday, 7th March at Adversary Studios and in Melbourne on Sunday. 8th March at Drumtek.
The workshop will held over an intensive full day seminar where beginner and advanced drummers can participate and learn from the master himself, breaking down and working through his amazing techniques, exercises and unique philosophy on drum practice and advancement.

George is best known for his work with extreme metal legends Nile (www.facebook.com/nilecatacombs) who are no strangers to Australia, having toured here several times over their illustrious career. George is also known for his critically acclaimed educational DVDs “Intense Metal Drumming” 1 & 2, and his latest book “The Odyssey of Double Bass Drumming”. Added to that, George’s Youtube videos have notched up millions of views.
Pushing all musical boundaries and the limits of what can be performed on the instrument, workshop participants will be left in awe of George’s insane abilities, and will be able to learn from the master.
