News : Sweden Rock Festival 2015 – Orpheus Omega Need Your Help!
Melbourne melodic death metallers Orpheus Omega are looking to get on the bill for Sweden Rock, Scandinavia’s biggest rock festival, but to do so, the guys need YOUR help!
Sweden Rock are hosting a competition to choose ultimately 4 bands to join the already impressive and extensive lineup. Listing a wide variety of bands from all over the world, you are able to vote for your chosen band once per day, per IP (to a maximum of 5 bands). The 25 bands with the most votes will enter a final voting round. Following this, 3 bands will be chosen to play Sweden Rock festival, as well as a “wild card” chosen by a jury.
Orpheus Omega are one of only two Australian bands to be featured on the list (the other being Perth-based hard rock act, Ragdoll). Voting is open until January 11 next year. To place your vote, head on down to the link below, and remember, you can continue to vote once per day until the competition ends.
Some of the bands already chosen to play next years Sweden Rock include Judas Priest, Dokken, HammerFall, Bloodbath, Def Leppard, Battle Beast, Eluveitie, Australia’s own rock royalty The Angels alongside starring up-and-comers Airbourne, and many more.
