News : Psycroptic release “The Early Years” box set
This is pretty much one of those articles that you might as well just skip and head straight to the purchase page. But just to fill in the space; Psycroptic have announced a new box set titled The Early Years.
There are two version; a black set and a coloured set. Inside, both feature;
– First-time pressings of Psycroptic’s first three albums on 200-gram heavyweight LPs
– Mastered specifically for vinyl from the original mixes
– Three 350gsm heavyweight gatefold jackets
– Brand new hand-painted cover art on the first two albums and the ultra high-resolution original art for Symbols of Failure
– And a 70-gram 7″ featuring rare bonus tracks only available in the box set
As you have probably guessed, the black set features black LPs, and the coloured features The Isle of Disenchantment on grey/black, The Scepter of the Ancients on orange/black and Symbols of Failure on blue/black.
While the albums will be available individually on 200g black vinyl, the box set version are limited to just 150 worldwide, and only 30 of those in Australia. So you might want to get in quick. Pre-orders are now available for both the black version and the coloured.
