Metal Down Under, A History of Australian Metal takes an indepth 3 hour look into the birth of the Australian metal scene til the present day. Written and directed by Nick Calpakdjian, the film features 40 exclusive interviews with some of Australia’s most iconic bands, radio personalities and journalists, all of whom have contributed and help shape the Australia metal landscape.
Released in August, the film peaked at number 4 on the ARIA DVD charts and stayed there for seven weeks selling over 1,500 units to date. As of today the DVD is now available digitally via iTunes and physically (Europe & UK) via Plastic Head Distribution across the globe.
