News : Anvil touring Australia this November
Canadian heavy metallers Anvil are returning to Australia this November, performing tracks off their new album ‘Hope in Hell, plus their extensive back catalogue in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Newcastle.
The album presents guitarist/vocalist Steve ‘Lips’ Kudlow, drummer Robb Reiner and their bassist Sal Italiano in top form. The band expresses their thoughts on the new new album, ‘Hope in Hell’.
“We’re really proud and already love the new album just as much as our early releases from the beginning of the eighties, because Hope In Hell sounds like Anvil live on stage: natural, honest, unvarnished, never over-produced and straight from the heart.”
The band’s 2009 documentary Anvil! – The Story Of Anvil has made them famous the world over, bringing the band back into the public eye and has allowed the band to perform at some of the most respected metal festivals, including: Download Festival, Wacken Open Air and Australia’s very own Soundwave Festival.
