News : Christian Nativo Leaves Vanishing Point
Earlier today, Christian Nativo, former drummer of Melbourne-based, symphonic prog metaller’s, Vanishing Point, made the sad announcement that he has decided to leave the band. While the specifics of his departure weren’t mentioned in his post, he did say it was with a “heavy heart” that he has chosen to do so.
Hey Guys,
Christian here (drummer)
It’s with a heavy heart that I’m announcing that I’m leaving my beloved band Vanishing Point after 8 years as an active member.
I’ve had many great experiences through the band, and for that, I’m eternally grateful.
I’d like to thank anyone who has supported me in the band over the last 8 years. I’ll cherish that support and friendship forever.
I’d like to wish the band all the best for the future.
In lieu of this, Vanishing Point commented shortly ago that plans for their Japanese tour this November are still going ahead, and that the “music will continue” as “Vanishing Point is still alive”.
Hi everyone,
In light of Christian’s departure from Vanishing Point we wish to inform you all that we still are going to Japan and the music will continue.
Vanishing Point is still alive, still here and we will be moving forward.
Thank you for your understanding at this present time.
Cheers VP
Christian played his last gig at The Espy, Melbourne on September 5 alongside Alarum, Aeon of Horus, and Orchestrating the Damned. Metal Obsession would like to wish Christian all the best in his future endeavours.
