News : Coldrain Announced For Soundwave 2015
So, it’s started again. The steady buildup to the full Soundwave lineup for 2015 has begun. The first announcement has been made and Japanese metalcore quintet, Coldrain, have been chosen as the first official sign on for the Soundwave festival 2015 (SW15). This news arrives ahead of the release of Coldrain’s debut international album, ‘The Revelation’, which lands on August 8.
Nagoya rockers COLDRAIN have already made their mark in becoming a household name in their home country Japan and after building their international footprint with their blistering live show, we are thrilled to announce COLDRAIN on the Soundwave Festival 2015 line-up.
After already conquering Japan, COLDRAIN have set their sights on the rest of the world with their massive riffs, brutal breakdowns and their energetic, high-energy live show.
They’ve toured with metal titans Bullet For My Valentine in February/March 2014, co-headlined the completely sold out Monster Energy Outburn Tour with Crossfaith and Miss May I, then continued on toperform sets around the globe at the likes of Download Festival (UK) and Rock am Ring/Im Park (Germany) andperformed at Japan’s major rock festivals including Summer Sonic, Rock In Japan, as well as Ozzfest Japan.
The Nagoya natives have been receiving praise across the board recently with various ‘zines noting the “intense sonic battering” (Kerrang) of their music, coupled by how “brilliant they are in a live environment” (UK Scumscene) and the fact Coldrain make it “virtually impossible to simply sit still and listen” (Rocksound).
