Prong (US)

Joining the huge string of unexpected international tours down under are US metal band, Prong. Having begun their career in 1986 and gone through disbands and reforms of the band, Prong have held strong through the years. With nine studio albums under their belt, over the course of their career, Prong have played to a variety of different styles encompassing thrash, groove, industrial, hardcore punk, crossover, and at times, even alternative metal.

Considered to be a key influence by band members from the likes of Korn, Nine Inch Nails, Slipknot, and Demon Hunter, Prong is a band who have never been afraid to push the boundaries of what metal music has to offer, and have felt varying levels of success across their career.

Thanks to the folks at Nightmare Music, 123 Agency & RiSH Publicity in association with Utopia Records, this November, for the first time ever, Prong are touring Australia and New Zealand alike!

With their latest album, ‘Ruining Lives’, doing the rounds since its release back in late April, expect to hear live tracks from the new album as well as “all the classics such as Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck, Rude Awakening, Whose Fist Is It Anyway? and Beg To Differ and much more!”
