News : Chronolyth Release Videoclip For “The Heresy (Crucify Your God)”
Brisbane extreme metallers Chronolyth made quite a splash over the past several months, which, following their 27 date Australia Sovereign Tour, ultimately culminated at Soundwave 2013 at the RNA Showgrounds in Brisbane, alongside such acclaimed international acts as Ill Niño, Down, Devil Driver, and so forth. With the band going on hiatus from July onwards to work on album number 2, ‘Sovereign’, they’ve unveiled a slice of the mayhem to come with the music video for “The Heresy (Crucify Your God)”; a crushing track that welcomes back into the fold the enigmatic ‘Overlord’ figure, showing the damage he’s caused to others lives during his reign.
The music video was directed, filmed, and edited by Brisbane based photography and graphic design house Shots For Bands, and the lighting provided by Jordan Gump at J.Gump.Productions. It was further produced by Nik Carpenter and was mixed and mastered by Chris “Zeuss” Harris, with additional lighting given courtesy of Brisbane Pro Camera Hire.
To keep up with all things Chronolyth, head on over to their official Facebook page. ‘Sovereign’ is available now via Chronolyth’s official Big Cartel and Bandcamp.
