News : Kyzer Soze’s “Aedes Satan” now streaming on Soundcloud

You may have seen the news posted here a couple days ago about the latest track by Brisbane’s Kyzer Soze, “Aedes Satan” (which in its Latin form can be translated to ‘Shrine’ or ‘Tomb’ of Satan). After being premiered exclusively on JJJ’s The Racket last night, in case you weren’t able to hear it then, the new lead track is now streaming on the band’s official Soundcloud page here.

Brisbane blackened death metal act KYZER SOZE have just unleashed the band’s first song ‘Aedes Satan’ from its upcoming debut album which will be released later this year through Truth Inc Records (Truth Corroded, Mors Principium Est)

See KYZER SOZE live in Melbourne on May 30 alongside Abrasion, The Arbiter and Blunt Shovel at The Bendigo, at THE NEW DEAD METALFEST in Adelaide on May 31 alongside King Parrott, Vanishing Point, Lord, Truth Corroded and many more and in Brisbane supporting ABORTED and PSYCROPTIC in June.

From someone who’s had a bit of experience in this area, this song is monstrous in sound with Kyzer Soze storming forth as a blasphemous, unforgiving entity. Its sound revels in haunting and disturbing your ears, and its crushing ferocity, coupled by its pulsing melody, owes much to its influences in Behemoth, The Black Dahlia Murder, and Fleshgod Apocalypse.

With all music written and performed by the band, “Aedes Satan” was mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen (Aborted, Destruction) at his personal studio in Denmark, as well as being produced and engineered by Nik Carpenter at Core Studios on the Gold Coast. “Aedes Satan” will surely appeal to fans of any of the aforementioned bands, and to genre enthusiasts.

It definitely has my recommendation. And if this is but a glimpse of what’s to come with the new album I see great things on the horizon for this band.
