News : Orpheus Omega Announce Pozible Campaign For Live DVD In Asia

The ever-busy Melbourne quintet Orpheus Omega have today announced a campaign via Pozible to help fund a professionally filmed live DVD for their impending trip over to Asia for their Archways Across Asia tour; set to kick off in a couple months time. Niklas Sundin, famed guitarist for Dark Tranquillity (who Orpheus also toured with as national support back in March this year) and founder of ‘Cabin Fever Media’ (a digital studio known for their album artwork, but who design illustrations and graphics for a host of other things such as t-shirts, logo creation, web design, etc.), has been brought on board to produce the artwork for the DVD alongside a heap of live photos from the tour.

But to pull all this off, Orpheus Omega need your help!

When we began discussing an Asian tour for 2014 we wanted to make things a little bit special, for not only our fans in Asia, but for everyone around the world. We could have stopped at a kick ass Asian tour with memories of our first time touring outside of Australia but instead, we wanted to share it with all of YOU.

Without our dedicated fan base we wouldn’t be where we are today, doing the awesome things we get to do and because of that, we’ve decided to give all of our fans the opportunity to see exactly what life on the road is like with 5 ragtag boys from Melbourne, Australia.

But in order to really show you what that truly entails, we need your help to make this… Possible!

Looking to offer to their fans a unique experience that’ll highlight both the highs and potential lows of a tour of this scale, Orpheus Omega want not only to share with their Asian fans this incredible live experience with them, but also to all of their others fans who simply cannot afford, or for logistical reasons are unable to attend, a tour such as this.

Our goal for this project is to deliver a Live DVD and documentary that’s fun, exciting, exhilarating and true to form. We want to capture the best… and worst moments on this adventure and bear all (maybe not ALL, no one wants to see that.. Children may be present during the watching of this DVD)

We will be filming all of our shows on the tour with a mixture of both pro-shot and bootleg styled footage and putting them together for a kick ass multi-show Live DVD. Shot in amazing places like Hong Kong, China, Korea and Taiwan’s acclaimed Wake Up Festival, we plan to bring our brutal and entertaining live shows to your living room (Filmed in true 4D.. Not really)

Aiming to reach their projected target of $5,000, many awesome and rare prizes are up for grabs when you pledge a certain amount to the campaign. Singularly starting at just $5 and heading in upwards of $800, many of these items on offer are likely a once-in-a-lifetime deal. As a special bonus, if their set target is surpassed, Orpheus Omega will also offer all of their pledgees a special, digitally released live CD comprising songs from all across the tour before the release of the live DVD.
