News : Hellraiser VI – Perseverance, ‘The Brustian Solution’ EP Launch
Celebrating its sixth year, the annual extreme metal festival Hellraiser returns to Melbourne for another bout of terror; helping showcase the best new local talent in the black, death, and thrash metal scenes respectively.
Taking place at The Central Club Richmond, topping the bill this year are headliners Perseverance who will also be launching their new EP, The Brustian Solution, on the night.
Supporting Perseverance on the night will be Vahrzaw, Atomic Death Squad, the live debut of Melbourne based death metallers Brutonomy, and opening proceedings for the night will be black metallers Hexreign.
Few events on the Melbourne Heavy Metal calendar come close in notoriety to the HELLRAISER event, now in it’s sixth non-consecutive year. Fewer Melbourne bands can claim to rival the mighty PERSEVERANCE in terms of intensity, and this year’s ‘HELLRAISER VI’ boasts a headline performance by the band in lieu of the release of their third Studio Recording, ‘The Brustian Solution’ EP, which will be available on the night.
In main support for the night, we have booked the irreverent VAHRZAW, who have also just released a blistering new record, ‘Twin Suns and Wolves’ Tongues’, copies of which will be made available in-venue.
Thrashers, ATOMIC DEATH SQUAD are booked to provide transition from the live debut of Melbourne Death Metallers, BRUTONOMY, and the night is set to kick off in sinister fashion with some nasty Black Metal courtesy of HEXREIGN.
We’ll be spinning a stack of Black, Thrash and Death Metal between bands, entry is only $10.00, and doors are from 8pm – don’t miss what’s set to be an unforgettable night.
Expect a wild night of extreme metal with Perserverance also selling a variety of merch on the night covering their first two albums, t-shirts, etc.
PERSEVERANCE will have a limited quantity of our earlier releases, ‘The Fading Light’ and ‘Silence, Forever; Endless’ available at this event, as well as previous T-Shirt prints and ‘The Brustian Solution’ Shirts and CD’s, all at ‘live discount’ prices.
With tickets being sold on the door for a ridiculously low 10 bucks, you don’t want to miss out on this one!
