News : Knightmare and Hybrid Nightmares to support Gloryhammer
UK epic power metallers GLORYHAMMER will soon bring their “Heroic Fantasy Power Metal” to Australian shores for the first time this April. Gloryhammer was forged by Christopher Bowes, the mastermind behind pirate-metal sensation ALESTORM, with a desire to explore the more symphonic and epic side of metal.
2 weeks ago Metal Obsession announced the national supports for the tour. However, as of last week the Melbourne and Geelong support Bane of Winsterstorm announced via their Facebook page they would not be appearing due to an accident which left singer, Mark Kennedy with a broken leg.
May as well announce it now. Last week our singer Mark Kennedy had an accident in which he severely broke his leg and thus we have to regretfully inform everyone that we cannot play the shows with Gloryhammer. This is yet another stroke of bad news that to be honest has left me completely burned out by everything. So while we did have some big plans for the rest of the year I must regretfully say that Bane of Winterstorm is finished for the year. I will continue working on the second album and continue to ship albums off. This is, at the moment, only a temporary thing. Sorry to everyone and I hope that next year will bring some positive energy to the band.
