News : Darkc3ll and Witchgrinder co-headline tour kicks off next week!
Industrial metallers Darkc3ll (the same chaps who performed at the years Soundwave Festival) and Witchgrinder (those goth rockers who supported Ghost on their recent Australian tour) are joining forces for a special industrial metal tour this April.
Witchgrinder and Darkc3ll have recently been announced to co-headline SF Media’s SFest 2014 on 12 April 2014, now the two bands have decided to extend that double headline event to a full east coast run under the banner of the ‘Industrial Revilution’ tour.
Kicking off in Darkc3ll’s hometown of Brisbane on 3 April, the tour wraps up for the the bands on 19 April in Witchgrinder’s hometown of Melbourne. The two bands will stop at Gold Coast, Sydney and Canberra in between. Darkc3ll will also make their first ever appearance in Adelaide on 20 April.
Both bands released albums in 2013 to critical acclaim, both via RTD Records. Witchgrinder’s ‘The Demon Calling’ was released in May 2013 and Darkc3ll’s ‘Dark Verses’ was released in September 2013. Both Darkc3ll and Witchgrinder have supported Wednesday 13 on his Australian tours in 2012 and 2013 respectively and their fan bases have been vocal about the two bands touring together since.
The fans have spoken and the tour is set for April 2014. The headlining band order for Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne will be decided on the night of the gig, so make sure you get to the show early so you don’t miss either band and their supports.
