News : In Malice’s Wake announce first show for 2014
Earlier this week Melbourne thrash metal titans, In Malice’s Wake, announced the arrival of new lead guitarist Leigh Bartley, and bassist Karl Watterson into the band.
With their brand new line-up ready for action, In Malice’s Wake have announced their return to the live front on Friday, 14th March at the Bendigo Hotel in Collingwood. Dubbed “Bloodshed at the Bendigo”, the line-up features local thrash heroes Harlott, Maniaxe and Mason, who recently supported US thrash metallers, Havok on their recent Australian tour.

Head on over to the official Facebook page for more information.
Veterans and masters of live destruction, the first IN MALICE’S WAKE show for 2014 is especially significant, marking the debut of TWO new members. Join IN MALICE’S WAKE in welcoming Leigh and Karl, and witness their incredible skill and presence in action for the first time. Playing a venomous set of classic tracks from the acclaimed ETERNAL NIGHTFALL and THE THRASHENING albums, this new line-up ensures that this will be an IN MALICE’S WAKE show unlike any that have preceded it. Come and join the Onslaught once more…
HARLOTT draw heavy influence from the 80’s bay area thrash scene. Blending blistering, aggressive thrash with lyrics based on the human condition, HARLOTT have quickly proven why they are one of the hottest bands to come out of Melbourne. Playing a selection of killer tracks from their recent and highly acclaimed ORIGIN album, the chaos of a HARLOTT pit has to be experienced to be believed.
Bringing the darker shade of thrash metal aggression to this event, the notorious MANIAXE will deliver an ugly set of demonic thrash for fans of early-era SODOM etc. Having played a variety of underground festivals throughout 2013 and released the crushing E.P SACRIFICE, the MANIAXE machine will roll through the Bendigo Hotel leaving no survivors.
Fresh from supporting the mighty HAVOK on their recent Australian Tour, the always impressive MASON will be launching the night with a destroyer set that will leave you breathless. Playing tracks from their highly revered WARHEAD album – get down early, grab a Happy Hour beer and join the fray as MASON show you exactly why they have a fan-base that is growing so rapidly!
