News : Chris Themelco leaves Bane of Winterstorm
Melbourne symphonic power metal band Bane of Winterstorm have announced the departure of their guitarist, Chris Themelco. Due to his full time commitments with Orpheus Omega, Chris (Themelco) has sadly taken a step back from his duties in Bane of Winterstorm.
Chris Themelco released the statement below via the Bane of Winterstorm Facebook page:
It is with great sadness that I announce my departure from Bane Of Winterstorm. Unfortunately with my commitments to both work and Orpheus Omega, I feel that I’m unable to continue putting the 100% that the band deserves. With the great response and success since the release of The Last Sons Of Perylin, it’s obvious the band will be doing great things in the near future. I’ve had nothing but an absolute blast during my time in the band and it has been an honor to have helped steer the ship to what it is quickly becoming alongside such great friends and musicians.
I wish the band all the best in the future and look forward to seeing the great things that come their way. I’ll be filling in until the band finds a replacement, but for now it’s safe to say that Sonic Forge was my last live performance with the band. And I couldn’t be happier with such a great shows.
The band are currently promoting their debut album, ‘The Last Sons Of Perylin’, which has received solid reviews and feedback from fans and media alike.
