News : AMDBL, The Schoenberg Automaton and Aeon of Horus hit the road together
Anybody who reads this site regularly will know that A Million Dead Birds Laughing and The Schoenberg Automaton are up there as some of our absolute favourite Aussie bands. So, to hear that they’re hitting the road with Aeon of Horus is great news indeed. If you want to witness an evenign of forward-thinking, interesting metal, then this is what you’re looking for.
“After spending the better part of the last 12 months writing, refining and recording material for the new album Existence, we couldn’t be more excited to hit the road with some of our favourite Aussie artists. More importantly though, we believe this tour is going to be the perfect showcase of Australia’s growing range of interesting and thought provoking metal” Andy Annand, Aeon of Horus
“This year has been a solid, successful and creative one for all of us. Speaking exclusively from the TSA camp, the release of “Vela” has enabled some truly humbling and memorable experiences, including our recent opportunity to play the Brisbane leg of Soundwave 2013 and supporting some of our favourite bands within the genre.
This tour will be taking us to places we’ve never been before, with some of the most forward-thinking bands this country has to offer.
And we’re beyond stoked.” – Shayne Johnson, The Schoenberg Automaton“After a fairly turbulent year supporting the release of ‘Xen’; AMDBL has come to a new chapter in our musical evolution, which has not only seen a significant line-up change in vocalist, but also produced a fresh, focused and introspective approach to our new album; entitled ‘Bloom’. What better way to usher in this next phase then to hit the road with two of Australia’s most inspiring and original metal acts? To say we are excited would be an understatement!” – Ben Boyle, AMDBL
