News : Hell on the Bay: The Heavy Metal Cruise
Australia will soon be getting their own taste of heavy metal on the high seas with the introduction of Hell on the Bay. A heavy metal cruise presented by Brimstone Bookings, similar to 70,000 Tons of Metal, Wacken’s Full Metal Cruise and Barge to Hell.
The line-up will include Co-headliners Psycroptic and Ne Obliviscaris, plus special guests Hybrid Nightmares and Orpheus Omega.
The heavy metal cruise will set sail on the eve of Saturday, 7th September 2013. Don’t miss out!
Tickets on sale Monday, 15th July via Oztix. www.oztix.com.au
‘Hell On The Bay’ is a heavy metal boat party featuring performances by Australian metal veterans Psycroptic & Ne Obliviscaris as well as Victorian metal powerhouses Hybrid Nightmares & Orpheus Omega. Taking place on the ‘Victoria Star’ cruise ship, attendees can expect four hours of cruise time around Melbourne’s iconic Port Phillip Bay to the hard hitting music of Australia’s metal elite. Co-headliners Psycroptic & Ne Obliviscaris will be playing hour long sets while punters interested in just having a good time can rock out to classic metal anthems and new metal hits in the ‘Below Decks’ Party Room.
Tickets will be on sale through Oztix from Monday 15th of July. $40 Early Bird, $50 Standard (+bf).
Food will be included in the ticket price. Alcoholic drinks available. 18+ event only!
UPDATE: Brimstone Bookings have released important information regarding the departure and arrival times of the Hell on the Bay Metal Cruise. Please read the instructions carefully.
Location: Central Pier, Docklands (opposite Ethihad Stadium)
Boarding: Between 7:00-7:30PM Strict. Please ensure you arrive on time or earlier. The Woolshed pub is right around the corner and would be an ideal meeting place. Tickets will not be refunded for people who miss boarding.
Parking: Docklands Drive/Waterfront & Harbour Town are all a 5 minute walk from the Boat and would be the best place to park. There is no football game/event on at Ethihad so there should be an abundance of parking.
Train: Southern Cross Station is a short walk
Tram: City Circle Stop D2
#30 via LaTrobe St
#70 via Flinders St
CASH ONLY!
If you plan on buying drinks and/or merchandise make sure you bring sufficient cash. We will hopefully have an eftpos machine for merch (TBC) but the bar is strictly cash only.
