News : Satriani announces Australian masterclass tour next April

Joe Satriani, a bona fide guitar hero and the genius behind CHICKENFOOT and G3 will be coming to Australia next April for a string of masterclasses.

In 1987, Joe Satriani hit with Surfing with the Alien: an action-packed opus of delirious guitar instrumentals. Satch (as he become known from his hit ‘Satch Boogie’) hit the bullseye before anyone knew a target existed! But for the former guitar teacher turned pro, it was the culmination of a dream he had the day he quit his high school football team – to devote his life to the guitar. Joe Satriani has since become a cult legend as the guitar teacher to stars such as Steve Vai, Metallica’s Kirk Hammett and jazzer, Charlie Hunter.
