News : A Million Dead Birds Laughing vocalist takes “indefinite hiatus”
In what is some of the worst music news since Col left The Schoenberg Automaton, vocalist Adam Stewart has taken an indefinite hiatus from Melbourne’s brilliant A Million Dead Birds Laughing. The split is mutual according to a post on their Facebook page, allowing Adam to work through some personal issues.
It’s rather shit news. The man is by far one of the most unique vocalists and frontmen in metal, and it’s certainly hard to imagine the band without him. Whatever the situation is, we all wish the best for him.
An announcement about the vocal position will be made within the next few weeks. The band will still be hitting Queensland this week with Brazen Bull, but will be performing instrumentally until the vocalist situation is sorted.
