News : Taberah unleashes a track from their upcoming album!

This year saw Tasmania’s traditional heavy metal heavyweights, Taberah head back into the studio with Joe Haley (Psycroptic) to record their new album, “MMXII”, the follow up to their outstanding debut 2011 album “The Light of Which I Dream”. After recently receiving the final mix for their new album, and releasing pre-orders for their ‘Death By The Hammer’ shirts, the band felt as if they had to release a new song titled ‘The Hammer of Hades’ to accompany that.

Compared to their last album, the band has really stepped things up in this new song. It still has that recognisable Taberah sound, but this song has more guts, and sounds very thrashy. Then again, Taberah is a widely influenced band, so like their last album, there could be a thrashier, faster song on it, followed by a more classic rock sounding song. According to their guitarist/vocalist, Jonathon, the best is yet to come, so if that’s the case, then this is going to be an amazing album.
