While undergoing a few line-up changes, Geelong death metallers Empires Fall have dominated shows across Victoria since their live debut in 2010. Structuring their death metal sound ever since, the band have proven themselves to be one of Geelong’s leading bands. Recently, Empires Fall went into Complex Studios with Roman Koester (Boris the Blade, The Red Shore) to record their debut EP “The Tyrants Genocide”, and with that in mind, Metal Obsession caught up with the band (excluding their singer) to discuss the EP and live shows.
