News : First piece of Ørannis material released

By on September 13, 2011

After being formed back in early 2010 by Sam Dishington (Meticulous Despoilment, ex-Separatist) and Michael Rankine (Meticulous Despoilment), with Jarrod Sorbian (Redemption Denied, Ending Atrophy) and Mitch Osborne (Meticulous Despoilment) joining later on, Tasmania’s Ørannis has finally made some material public. The eerie-as-fuck six minute track “Citylights” is available to listen to, and download, over at their newly opened official Facebook page.

With the writing process for their debut album well underway, the band are hitting the stage for the first time on December 23rd at the Brisbane Hotel as part of Hexmass 2011, alongside Ruins, Whitehorse and Thrall who are launching their new album on the night.
