Dynamics and variation became very important, and when writing Nadir this was definitely the focus. There are intense blasts, but there are also brooding quiet parts scattered throughout the album that flow very well.

Not too long ago, Sydney’s Beyond Terror Beyond Grace unexpectedly launched a nine minute sampler of their upcoming full length Nadir and needless to say, it made quite a few people rather excited. With seven tracks all breaking the six minute mark, the new album is something different from the band, with a much larger focus on atmospherics and a bit of a departure from grind traditions.
