News : New monthly metal night 'Metal Central' starting this Feb!

Great news for all you prog and power metal lovers out there in Melbourne. SCREAMING SYMPHONY will be hosting a monthly event, simply titled METAL CENTRAL on the first Friday of every month at the Central Club in Richmond. A lot of you old Melbourne metal folk would be familiar with this event, as it was originally called ‘Breakers Metal’ back in the day. This event will be hosted by Screaming Symphony and supported by yours truly…Metal Obsession.

This exciting new venture will give people the opportunity to not only catch some great and well know local metal talent, but also a lot of the up and coming bands in the scene too, and as such requires your support to keep it going. For further information of this awesome new monthly event can be gained at the recently opened Metal Central website.

You can catch Screaming Symphony every Thursday night from 10pm on PBS.FM (106.7fm) with hosts, Peter and Gary.

The first Metal Central event will be on the 4th February with metal maestros BLACK MAJESTY and new to the scene prog metal outfit CELL.  Tickets available at the door and are very cheap!
