News : Name change for Sydney's Recoil

Ahead of their assault on the US, Canadian and European markets in mid-2011 with their debut album ‘The Will To Sin‘, Sydney metal-rockers Recoil have announced a revision to their band name and will henceforth be knows Recoil v.o.r. Lead man Wade McKay remarked…

“Adding ‘v.o.r.’ – which stands for ‘Voice of Rule’ – helps us to more uniquely define our band and brand and to express the passion, energy and power of our music and not just my voice. Our new name looks great on t-shirts and especially good on g-strings..!“

The band is hoping to take things to the next level, recently signing a management deal with well-known American music executive Mark Mazzetti and his company, Record Company In A Box, based in Seattle and Los Angeles. ‘The Will To Sin‘ is in stores now through New Justice Records.
