Max Cavelara is known by many as a spiritual and political leader in the metal world. While Sepultura dealt with more of the latter, Soulfly brought on a spiritual clarity which still holds the aggression and passion we have come to know and love from Max.

With the release of Soulfly’s new album ‘Omen’ and an impressive European tour just finished, Soulfly are currently getting ready to hit Australian shores. Metal Obsession had the honour to speak with Max Cavalera about Soulfly’s new album and the upcoming Australian tour with special guests, City of Fire and Incite.
