News : Double Dragon preview new songs

Adelaide thrasher’s Double Dragon have released the following video on their myspace, showing previews of pre-production from their upcoming release Redemption, set for release in late 2010. Following a busy 12 months of touring the country as support for Slayer, Megadeth and Chimaira on their recent Australian tours, the band are set to head into Deep Blue Studio, before sending the tracks to the USA for mixing by Eyal Levi (Daath).

Double Dragon have also released a live track of new song “Blood” on their myspace, taken from RIVERSTAGE in Brisbane when they supported SLAYER and MEGADETH last year.

On the new album’s direction, vocalist Lee Gardiner commented: “For our second album, we pretty much want something loud, abrasive and unpredictable, and we are confident that our new album will be all of the above. We are treading some new ground musically on this one, and although people might find it different at first, playing these songs feels like a natural progression of our overall sound”
